You can log in to your ELS online application account ( to see details of recommended accommodation options and booking instructions.
Please inform us of your travel arrangements at least 3 days before departure. It is important to note that under Malaysian Immigration requirements, a representative from ELS Language Centres is required to meet you at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA 2). You should plan your travel so that you will arrive before the term begins.

Note: RM100 surcharge for pickup after 9pm and on Sundays/Public Holidays.

EMGS is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ministry of Education and is the only organisation authorised to process student visa applications for international students who wish to study in Malaysia.

All international students who apply for a student visa are required to undergo a Pre-arrival Medical Screening in their home country for us to submit to EMGS. The application will not be processed until the student’s Pre-arrival Medical Screening details have been submitted to EMGS together with the visa processing fee. Upon arrival, the student will proceed with the Post Medical Screening procedure at an EMGS appointed panel clinic within seven (7) working days from the date of entry.

The decision to issue or refuse a visa is made solely by immigration officers of the Malaysian Immigration Department. All applications will be assessed in accordance with Malaysia’s immigration visa rules and guidelines.

Note: EMGS fees are not refundable.

Take our ELS Placement Test

Students are required to take our Placement Test before undertaking this programme. The Placement Test lets us know your English proficiency level, so that you are put in the right class with peers of the same level. This would allow you to learn more effectively as everything taught in class would be tailored to your specific level.

Start classes

Depending on the programme, most of our new intakes start near the beginning of each month. For our Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP), classes are from 8.30am to 3.25pm from Monday to Thursday; and 8.30am to 12.25pm on Friday.
