What happens next?

This is a simple description of what happens after you’ve submitted your application to study at ELS Malaysia. There may be additional steps depending on the country you are applying from and your visa requirements.

  1. Submit your application – you can either apply online to join a course or send a copy by post or fax. Applying online is easy, fast and safe and goes directly to the International Student Counsellor who deals with your country of residence.
  2. Check entry requirements and availability – once we receive your application, we’ll check to see if you meet all the entry requirements for entry into Malaysia.
  3. Registration and Visa processing payment and submission of related documents – Upon confirmation of your intent to study at ELS Malaysia, you will be required to pay the registration and visa processing fee. You should also send to the International Office the required certified documents to process your visa application.
  4. Offer of a place or an alternative plan - If you meet the necessary entry requirements, then we will write to you with a formal offer of a place at ELS Malaysia.
  5. Accommodation availability check - Upon receipt of your registration fees, we will then check the availability of your chosen accommodation and hold a place in your name.
  6. Place confirmation - We will then write to you with a confirmation of your reserved course place.
  7. Accommodation & arrival confirmation - Please inform us your travel arrangement at least 7 days before departure. It is important to note that under the Malaysian Immigration requirements, a representative from ELS Language Centers is required to meet you at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). You should plan your travel so that you will arrive before the session begins. Should you require place to stay when you arrive, please inform us at least 7 days before your departure.
  8. Meet you at airport or campus - we look forward to welcoming you either at the airport (if you’ve booked an airport pick up) or on campus.
