Exclusive ELS textbooks
ELS textbooks are exclusively designed to provide the special communicative curriculum found only at ELS Language Centres. At each level, students will need two textbooks, a copy of the Structure & Speaking Practice book and a copy of the Reading & Writing book. Each textbook includes up-to-date material from the best and most respected authors in the ELT field.
Standardised level completion testing
ELS has worked with The Chauncey Group International, a subsidiary of the Educational Testing Service (ETS), to develop exclusive level completion tests that accurately measure a student’s abilities upon completing each ELS level.

Certificates
An Academic report is issued to each student at the end of every session detailing their progress and success. A Certificate of Attendance records your attendance at ELS Language Centres and your highest level completed. A Certificate of Promotion recognises successful completion of Level 103, 106 and 109 in the Certified Intensive English Programme.
University admission
Many private colleges and universities in Malaysia, universities and career schools in the USA, and a substantial number of universities and polytechnics in the UK, Australia and New Zealand recognise the ELS Proficiency recommendation in lieu of the TOEFL/IELTS or other standardised examination as being satisfactory for their English language admissions requirement.
University Placement Express
ELS has developed its own university application portal, called UPX (University Placement Express), that is available to all of its students. It allows students to browse, compare and apply to any of the ELS university partners with ease and faster processing time. With the help of an ELS counsellor, you can choose the best programme that suits your needs and gain acceptance into that university before you leave ELS.
