Introduction
ELS Johor Bahru is located on the 15th floor of a new commercial building adjacent to one of the town’s most popular shopping centres. The large and roomy centre meets the needs of a modern language school. There are 8 classrooms and a multimedia laboratory that offers a comfortable and conducive environment for teaching and learning.
The centre is located in the Pelangi district of Johor Bahru, a premier residential area close to the city. It is conveniently annexed to Plaza Pelangi, a shopping centre that has a host of restaurants, fast food outlets, fashion stores, supermarket (Cold Storage) and department stores.

Area Description
Johor Bahru represents the modern era of the Malay Sultanate. Johor’s attraction is the result of the blend of the traditional and new, from its rich cultural heritage and the modern cosmopolitan influence from across the causeway. Johor Bahru has vast housing estates and shopping areas and is the ‘Southern Gateway to Malaysia’. The city gets quite congested with visitors from Singapore and other regions and is one of the largest cities in Malaysia. Outdoor activities like fishing, hiking and visiting beaches and islands are some of the popular attractions.

| Johor Zoo | The Johor Zoo is one of the oldest in the country. It was built in 1928 by Sultan Sir Ibrahim and was handed over to the state government to manage in the 1960s and open to the public in 1962. There are 100 species of animals in the 5ha compound.
